In April we recognize National Child Abuse Awareness Month and the connection between child abuse and domestic violence. Research indicates that 30% to 60% of children in homes with domestic violence also experience abuse, putting them at risk of physical harm and other forms of mistreatment. The long-lasting effects of domestic violence on a child are significant.
At the King's Daughters Ministry our mission is to help hurting women and their children, many who have experience domestic violence and abuse of various types.
